We are an Organisational Member of the BACP

Providing affordable Placement Schemes to Qualified and Student Counsellors, to gain client hours, further knowledge and experience, whilst working towards Qualification and Accreditation.

These are a few reasons why a Placement Scheme with Counsellors Together is beneficial to you.....

  • You have the option, to provide your own practice Insurance, or we can provide your insurance at a reduced rate.

(Big savings straight away for Students and Qualified Therapists taking our Placements, that includes our own Insurance)

  • The Service works in line with the BACP guidelines and framework.
  • Room rent is £5 per hour working from our therapy rooms in St. Austell.  
  • Induction is provided, as part of our service
  • We provide personal therapy to Members at a reduced hourly rate of £25 per hour.
  • We provide Counselling placements on an annual basis.
  • We assess clients in the first instance, to ensure the safety of both the client and Therapist.
  • We match you with your client where possible.
  • We provide on-going Mentoring support to Members.
  • We provide all documents and templates required to carry out Therapy sessions.
  • You will gain further knowledge and experience.
  • You will have opportunities within the organisation for related Training.
  • We offer 1-1 Clinical Supervision on a monthly basis at 1.5 hours per month - please enquire for Clinical Supervision costs. 
  • We provide BACP Guideline Handouts as part of your placement

Student Counsellors - Placement = £50.00 per year without our insurance (using your own insurance policy), or £65 per year with our insurance policy.


Qualified Counsellors (working towards Accreditation) Placement = £50.00 per year without our insurance (using your own insurance policy), or £65 per year with our insurance policy.

**All applicants require an initial interview process, full enhanced DBS check and reference checks before we can offer you a placement**

A DBS check will cost £12.00 and payment will be required immediately to process this.

You will be required to provide a number of relevant I.D documents for a DBS check to be processed.
